Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology.
Current ARRT OR RCIS OR RCES certificate
Current BLS
ACLS within 6 Months
Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology Special Procedures or Cath Lab preferred.
Experience with scrubbing preferred.
Ability to participate in on-call schedule on a regular basis for special procedures.

Responsibilities

Care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards.
Instructs and prepares patients for roentgen graphic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.
Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions; provides immobilization or support devices.

This Cardiac/Cath Lab Tech opportunity is a full-time position on our Cath Lab nd offers full time benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Cardiac/Cath Lab Tech that will help provide cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures. Performs radiographic diagnostic and interventional procedures in the interventional service line, upon the order of a licensed practitioner. Provides for optimal patient care applying departmental standards and protocols. Exercises professional judgement in performance of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology procedures. Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients.
Instructs and prepares patients for roentgen graphic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.
Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions; provides immobilization or support devices; shields patients accordingly.
