Job summary

Valley Health System's Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas seeks a skilled radiology professional to perform cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures in a busy Cath lab. The role requires RCIS or ARRT CI/VI certification, ARRT registration, and current BLS/ACLS, with patient care across age groups.

Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology care. Summerlin Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center and has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines program.

Job Requirements

Education

Graduate from an accredited radiology technician program or registered cardiovascular invasive specialist program. Must successfully complete VHS Ancillary Preceptor training within first six (6) months.

Experience

1-year experience in cardiac Cath lab for RCIS certified individuals or 2 years of experience in Cath lab or interventional radiology units for ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) candidates.

Technical Skills

Demonstrate knowledge and experience in cardiovascular procedures.

License/Certification

ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) Registration or RCIS required. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification.

Other

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.
