Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The role includes scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring patients, and operating specialized imaging equipment, working with the cardiovascular team to deliver high-quality patient care.

This is a full-time day shift with a 4x10 schedule and a shared on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R licensure and state license; preferred vi (Vascular Interventional Technologist).
• Experience in interventional radiology department preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients while documenting physiologic and hemodynamic data.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile instrumentation.
• Operate cardiovascular imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Maintain procedure supplies and equipment readiness.
• Adhere to quality, patient safety, radiation safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiovascular team to deliver exceptional patient care.
