Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) for a full-time, days shift (4x10). Pay ranges from $34.11 to $49.41 per hour, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Under the direction of Cardiologist and/or Radiologist, the tech assists with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures by scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data; prepares rooms and equipment;

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification and state license required.
• IR interventional experience preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required on hire and ACLS within 30 days.
• Proficient computer skills for charting and imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients; document physiologic and hemodynamic data.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile instrumentation.
• Operate cardiovascular imaging equipment per departmental protocols.
• Maintain supplies and equipment readiness.
• Adhere to quality, patient safety, radiation safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiovascular team to deliver exceptional patient care.
