Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124-bed acute care hospital in Sparks, NV, seeks a Cardiac/Cath Lab Tech to perform radiographic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. The role requires alignment with department standards, patient safety, and professional judgment to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.

The ideal candidate has radiologic technology credentials, relevant cath lab experience, and the ability to participate in on-call schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT OR RCIS OR RCES certification.
• Current BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing radiologic or interventional procedures and ensure equipment safety.
• Prepare patients for roentgenographic and fluoroscopic examinations.
• Assist with positioning and shielding to optimize imaging quality and patient safety.
