Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Cardiac/Cath Lab Tech for a full-time day shift. You will perform radiographic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab under licensed practitioner orders, delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.

The ideal candidate has Radiologic Technology training, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and experience in radiology or cath lab settings. On-call availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARR T OR RCIS OR RCES certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology or Cath Lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of radiology equipment.
• Instructs and prepares patients for roentgenographic/fluoroscopy exams.
• Positions patients and provides immobilization/support devices; shields as needed.
