Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a Full Time Day shift (4 - 10 hr shifts). Responsibilities include providing technical assistance for diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, scrub duties, and equipment operation.

The role requires BLS and ACLS within 1 year, and RCIS or ARRT certification or equivalent experience. Candidates should have Allied Health degree or three years Cath Lab/EP experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire.
• RCIS or ARRT certification or equivalent Cath Lab/EP experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify steps in established procedures and provide technical assistance for diagnostic/interventional cardiology procedures.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic/interventional CV procedures; prepare supplies, maintain sterile field, manipulate catheters and devices.
• Inject contrast media and medications under physician supervision.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure schedules as assigned and assist with inventory control.
