Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a full-time day shift. The role involves providing clinical support across diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, including monitoring, imaging, and device handling.

Responsibilities include scrub assistance, contrast administration under physician guidance, and coordinating procedure scheduling while maintaining sterile technique and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Allied Health Degree or three years of Cath Lab or EP experience.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• ACLS issued within 1 year of hire date, or transfer into position.
• Certification as RCIS or ARRT or three years Cath Lab or EP experience.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring and interpret data.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic and interventional CV procedures and manage sterile field.
• Inject contrast media and meds under physician supervision.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure scheduling as assigned and assist with inventory control.
• Support the organization’s mission, vision and values.
