Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in Texas is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a full-time day shift. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, managing supplies, operating imaging equipment, monitoring patients, and maintaining sterile fields.

Responsibilities include hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, scrub assistance, contrast injections under physician supervision, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Allied Health Degree or three years Cath Lab or EP experience.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• ACLS issued within 1 year of hire date.
• Certification as RCIS or ARRT or three years Cath Lab or EP experience.

Responsabilités

• Identify steps in established procedures to provide technical assistance for diagnostic and interventional invasive cardiology procedures.
• Scrub assist for all diagnostic and interventional CV procedures including preparation of supplies and instruments and maintaining the sterile field.
• Prepare and manipulate cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices.
• Inject contrast media and medications from the sterile field under physician supervision.
• Document procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure schedule and assist with inventory control as directed.
