Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech (ARRT-R required) for a part-time day shift at 333 Madison St, Joliet, IL. You’ll assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and monitor hemodynamics in a fast-paced Cath Lab.

Qualified candidates have ARRT-R and state licensure, BCLS, and ACLS within 30 days; IV/vascular procedure experience is preferred. The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification and state license required; VI preferred.
• Experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required on hire and kept current.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire; proficient with medical software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in life-saving cardiac procedures alongside physicians in diagnostic and interventional cases.
• Own the procedure room: scrub in, maintain sterile technique, ensure readiness for cases.
• Monitor real-time hemodynamic data and support patient safety and outcomes.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and room readiness to keep operations smooth.
• Support training and collaboration within a skilled Cath Lab team.
• Contribute to both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
• Uphold high standards of infection control and regulatory compliance.
