The ideal candidate holds an RN license, BLS, ACLS, and has Radiology nursing experience. Certification in CRN is preferred, with BSN preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS Certification 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) preferred.
• One year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Radiology.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist Radiologist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain equipment and inventory and ensure room readiness.
• Adhere to regulations, standards, and hospital policies; participate in PI activities.
