Qualifications

• Coordinates planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Ensures lab operations comply with regulatory standards and policies.
• Promotes staff development through education and performance evaluation.
• Performs care and assists with procedures under physician supervision.
• Participates in performance improvement to enhance patient outcomes and reduce costs.
• Analyzes requirements for capital equipment and assists in justifications.
• Leads EP, Pediatric Team Leaders, Cardiology, and related labs in absence of area supervisor.
• Coordinates risk management and analysis of failed medical devices per CMS policy.

Responsibilities

• Promotes staff development through education, performance evaluation, and identification of mutual goals.
• Performs care, assists with procedures, and administers medications under physician supervision.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to improve quality of patient care and outcomes.
• Analyzes requirements for capital equipment and assists in justifications.
• Assumes responsibility for EP, Pediatric Team Leaders, Cardiology, Enhanced External Counterpulsation in absence of supervisor.
• Coordinates risk management and failed medical device analysis per CMS policy.
