Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Allied Health Technology (e.g., Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy).
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiovascular Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Promotes cooperative work environment through communication and teamwork.
• Maintains readiness of emergency equipment and supplies; responds to emergencies with ACLS/BCLS knowledge.
• Operates radiographic and fluoroscopic cardiac catheterization equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintains accurate departmental records and documentation in electronic systems.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families and team members to coordinate care.
• Provides 24-hour emergency call coverage for Cardiac Cath Lab; rotates on call.
