Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support lifesaving cardiac procedures. You’ll assist physicians, prep patients, operate advanced equipment, and help ensure a sterile, safe environment while delivering compassionate care.

The role requires ACLS and BCLS within 30 days, ARRT-R radiography within 6 months (RCIS preferred), an associate degree, and 2 years acute care with 1 year critical care or Cath/EP lab experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of start date
• BCLS within 30 days of start date
• ARRT-R Radiography within 6 months of start date; RCIS preferred
• Associate Degree required
• 2 years acute care, 1 year critical care or Cath/EP lab experience preferred
• Call rotation

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
