Palmetto General Hospital is seeking a skilled Paramedic/Cardiovascular Tech to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting in Florida. You will prepare and monitor equipment, perform hemodynamic calculations, and assist with cardiac/vascular procedures including pacemaker insertions and cath studies.

Requires minimum one year of Paramedic experience, compliance with Florida licensure or eligibility, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Competenze

Minimum one year experience as a Paramedic in hospital or Pre-Hospital setting or related experience.
Must obtain Cardiovascular Tech, Cardiac Cath Tech or ARRT certification within 12 months of hire
Effective oral and written communication skills in the English Language.
Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to assist with varied operative procedures and surgeon's verbal directives.
Ability to perform effectively in fast paced, stressful environment.

Mansioni

Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, electrophysiological studies, pacemaker insertions, intra-aortic balloon pumps, structural heart procedures and endovascular procedures.
Set up and break down equipment; perform hemodynamic calculations for patient reports.
Prepare for procedures and monitor patient status during interventions.
Maintain composure and courtesy to patients and families in a fast-paced setting.
Communicate clearly with surgeons, staff and patients throughout procedures.
