Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Cardiovascular Specialist I to prepare patients for invasive cardiac procedures, assist in hemodynamic monitoring, and maintain equipment. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with RCIS/RVS certification and Mount Sinai experience beneficial.

The role requires BLS and ACLS certifications, with duties including sterile technique, equipment checks, and assisting in selective cardiology procedures. Join a collaborative team within the Mount Sinai Health System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Foreign MD who has passed MBBS examination may substitute.
• RCIS/RVS certification preferred.
• BLS certification Required

Responsabilités

• Maintain sterile techniques to prepare room, equipment table, and provide quality care.
• Monitor equipment and alert care team of changes during procedures.
• Retrieve supplies under direction of physicians and nurses during procedures.
• Restock rooms after each procedure and maintain par levels in the procedure room.
• Assist in product evaluations and draping of patient.
• Assist cardiologist with selective procedures and ensure aseptic practices.
