Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Labs. You will perform patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, and assist as scrub and circulator during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, ensuring sterile technique and accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates have an RN license, an associate or bachelor’s degree, and 2+ years of cardiac care experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN licensed to practice as a nurse.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• 2+ years in cardiac care or critical care setting.
• Cath Lab experience in diagnostic/interventional procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment and status documentation throughout procedures.
• Operate as monitor, scrub, and circulator during procedures.
• Ensure accurate procedure documentation and charge capture.
• Orient new staff and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain sterile technique and identify supplies needed for procedures.
