Job summary

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will assess patients, perform procedures as ordered, document care, administer meds, and stay current on cath lab equipment and procedures.

Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 1 year of acute care cardiac/med-surg RN experience are required; cath lab experience is preferred. Fingerprinting and call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Florida RN license (or recognized Compact Licensure).
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care Medical/Surgical/Cardiac RN experience.
• Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience preferred; fingerprinting and call required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each procedure.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for Cardiac Cath Lab & EP Lab patients.
