Job summary

HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka, FL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular unit. You will follow established policies and work with a skilled team to deliver safe, compassionate nursing services while coordinating care across disciplines.

Requirements include acute care nursing experience, Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a willingness to participate in call and credentialing.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start.
• ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year acute care experience required; Interventional Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred.
• 30 minute call window required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
