Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Associates considered)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates age-appropriate care.
• Collaborates with patient, family and other disciplines to develop and update care plans.
• Develops individualized, outcomes-based care plans and coordinates shift-based care.
• Delivers and documents nursing care, adheres to hospital policies and standards.
• Participates in safety, quality initiatives and performance improvement activities.
• May assume charge nurse functions in collaboration with unit leadership.
