Job summary

Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab team. The RN will provide professional nursing care, perform assessments, and collaborate with physicians and radiologic technologists during cardiac and pulmonary interventional procedures.

A valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and a nursing degree are required; cath lab experience is preferred. The role requires strong clinical judgment, documented care plans, and the ability to educate patients and families while ensuring safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing.
Bachelor's degree in nursing is required or considered with review.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Experience in cath lab or interventional procedures preferred.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a designated group of patients.
Provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders.
Monitor patient during cardiac and pulmonary interventional procedures.
Document procedures, medications, and patient responses accurately.
Assist physicians and radiologic technologists during catheterization and interventions.
Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family education as appropriate.
