RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheter Lab at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. The role is per diem, day shift, with on-call duties and a pay range of $46.90 - $63.09 per hour.

Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care for cardiac catheterization procedures, PCI, angiograms, and pacemaker-related interventions, while adhering to hospital policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Two years of critical care nursing experience required.
• Currently registered as a RN in New Jersey (State license).
• BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider certification.
• ACLS certification status preferred.
• Completion of IV Therapy course at the facility or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations and related procedures.
• Administer nursing care under medical direction and in line with hospital policies.
• Maintain nursing care standards and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Educate patients and families as part of clinical care.
• Be available on 30-minute on-call response time; weekend/holiday on-call.
• Support department goals and adhere to the State Nurse Practice Act.
