Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab to join our cardiovascular team. This role provides circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring support during procedures and requires ability to work with interventional cardiologists, RNs, and technicians.

The position is Monday-Friday, with no call, and offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development within a network that values patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current NC license or compact license with NC endorsement.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of Cath Lab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all Cath Lab patient care with emphasis on safety and minimizing errors.
• Completes initial and ongoing assessments including hemodynamic monitoring.
• Formulates and revises individualized care plans based on patient response.
• Assists with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, PCI, device implantation support, and vascular procedures.
• Administers medications, monitors sedation, and manages patient response during procedures.
• Documents nursing care accurately and timely.

Skills

Cardiac Cath Lab experience

Nursing licensure (NC or compact)

BLS certified

ACLS certified

Strong communication skills

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing

Bachelor's degree in Nursing
