Job summary

Sierra View Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Interventional Angio unit, full-time days, on-site in Porterville, CA. The role requires close collaboration with the Cardiology interventional team and adherence to AIDET standards.

The ideal candidate holds CA RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and has the ability to manage care across age groups with strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Relocation not mentioned; on-call requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Current California RN licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtained within orientation.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as required.
• Basic computer skills to document care and communicate with team.

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate nursing care using the Nursing Process.
• Assess and interpret patient needs and respond to changes in condition.
• Maintain Care Plan consistent with Nursing/Medical plans and age groups.
• Administer medications safely and troubleshoot equipment.
• Communicate patient status changes to physicians and team.
• Adhere to Joint Commission safety goals and hospital policies.
