Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to provide direct patient care in an established policy framework. You will manage patient conditions, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and implement care plans for Cath Lab and stroke patients.

The role requires a Florida RN license (or compact license with 60 days to Florida), 1+ year acute care RN experience, and certifications including NIH Stroke Scale, BCLS, and ACLS within specified windows.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; multistate license accepted with 60 days to Florida licensing upon relocation.
• 1+ year RN experience in acute care preferred.
• RN Diploma, Associate Degree, or BSN preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of employment start.
• ACLS Provider card within 6 months of start; BCLS required within 30 days.
• Interventional Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred.
• 30-minute call window required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and outcomes.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team for stroke and Cath Lab patients.
• Document orders and patient responses; communicate change in status.
