Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide expert care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting. The role emphasizes patient-focused procedures, teamwork, and adherence to procedural protocols.

The ideal candidate will have Florida RN licensure, a Nursing Diploma/ASN, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1–3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience. BSN is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license or compact license; FL RN license active within 60 days of hire.
• Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; ACLS to be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patient records including tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
