Job summary

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab RN to deliver expert care in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will support patients through pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases, assisting physicians and documenting test results in the medical record.

The role requires active FL RN license (compact accepted with 60 days), BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 1–3 years Cath Lab experience. BSN preferred for advancement and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license; compact allowed with active FL license within 60 days.
• Diploma/ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support required; ACLS to be completed within 6 months.
• 1–3 years’ Cardiac Cath Lab experience; strong communication and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patient records including posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.

Skills

RN licensed (FL or compact)

BLS certified

ACLS within 6 months
