Job summary

HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, ensuring high-quality, efficient care in a procedural setting.

The role involves pre-, intra-, and post-procedure assessment, assisting physicians, and maintaining records; requires Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 1–3 years Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or compact license with active FL RN within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• One to three years’ experience in Cardiac Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of Cardiac Cath patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
