Job summary

Advocate Health in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a qualified Cardiac Cath Lab professional to provide high-level nursing care and assist physicians during procedures. You will work 4-10 hour shifts, with a schedule including on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 2 years cardiac cath lab experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in PTCA, EPS preferred, with an AAS in RTR, or RTN license.
• ACLS, RCIS within two years of employment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy patients and equipment; work in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, highly technical nursing care to cardiovascular patients during procedures.
• Assist physicians in the operation of technical equipment.
• Maintain complete documentation of cardiovascular procedures and ensure safety and quality control.
