Job summary

Cook Children’s in Fort Worth, Texas, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform pediatric, adolescent, and adult diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will scrub and assist with routine and advanced cardiac interventions, applying x-ray technology with proficiency to support diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart conditions.

The role requires flexibility for extended shifts and on-call duties.

Qualifications

Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology.
Minimum of 2 years Radiology experience.
Previous Cath Lab experience preferred but not required.
Good interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
Ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress.
Texas Medical Board Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
Certified in BCLS/ACLS.

Responsibilities

Scrub and assist in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.
Perform diagnostic and interventional/electrophysiology imaging.
Operate and troubleshoot x-ray equipment.
Contribute to diagnosis and treatment of congenital cardiac patients.
Maintain knowledge of congenital heart conditions and electrophysiology procedures.
Be flexible with work schedule including extended shifts and on-call as needed.
