Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee the Cardiac Cath Lab department, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. You will plan, schedule, implement, and evaluate operations while coordinating staffing for variable patient census and supporting departmental development and fiscal plans.

Requires a BSN, Illinois license, ACLS within 6 months, and CPR; 3–5 years of supervisory experience with advanced nursing certification preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN from accredited School of Nursing, Illinois Nursing Licensure, ACLS within 6 months, CPR certified.
• Approx. three to five years progressively more responsible experience in supervisory capacity; may be required to sign up for on-call coverage.
• Advanced nursing certification in healthcare field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Cardiac Cath Lab department. Generates planning, scheduling, implementing and evaluating operations of these departments.
• Ensures adequate staffing coverage for a fluctuating patient census; supports department operations and development, implementation, and administration of patient care services to achieve goals.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to manage patient care services appropriate to patient ages and assists with fiscal year business plans.
