Job summary

Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc.) seeks an Interim Assistant Nurse Manager for the Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology team in Oakland, CA. This W-2 contract role supports clinical operations, staff performance, and care delivery.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with potential extension. BSN or BA required, BLS/ACLS, leadership experience, and readiness to lead in a fast-paced lab environment are essential. Full-time schedule 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• BSN or BA in health care related field required.
• Masters preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily unit operations including staffing, patient flow, and policy adherence.
• Provides clinical leadership through supervision, coaching, and feedback.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and survey readiness (quality, safety, risk management).
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for safe, effective patient care.
• Monitors metrics and drives quality/process improvements.
• Supports emergency preparedness and staff training.
