Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab on a Full Time Evening schedule. The nurse will provide safe, evidence-based care to a designated patient group, adhering to professional standards and hospital policies.

Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive patient care, collaborating with the care team, and educating patients and families about their treatment plans and transitions. Strong clinical skills and NYS RN licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure with current NYS registration.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable if enrolled in BSN program.
• Knowledge of nursing process and clinical decision making.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Cardiac/CCU care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care using evidence-based nursing practices.
• Assesses and plans care with critical thinking.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team on care plans.
• Educates patients and families about plan of care and transition.
• Performs charge nurse duties as assigned.
• Documents accurately per hospital standards.
