Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited program required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience; clinical experience in nursing education preferred.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Florida, or eligibility to practice in Florida as required by law.
• Nursing Professional Development Board Certification (NPD-BC) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications required.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and competency assessment.
• Proficiency with learning management systems, electronic health records, educational technology.

Responsibilities

• Promotes professional practice, role competence, and ongoing learning for nurses and healthcare team.
• Designs, develops, implements, and evaluates NPD initiatives and learning activities.
• Develops educational materials, curricula, and resources aligned with objectives.
• Coordinates orientation, residency, and transition-to-practice programs.
• Collaborates with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to drive practice changes.
