TriStar Summit Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join our team. The RN will function as scrub assistant, circulating RN or monitoring person, coordinating care across modalities and supporting daily lab operations.

Responsibilities include pre-screening patients, maintaining a safe environment, and contributing to performance improvement activities while delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced lab setting.

Formación

• ACLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid license.
• Associate degree in nursing.
• BCLS/CPR required within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience (ICU/ER/Cath Lab).

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedures RN is an individual who, after comprehensive training, is qualified to function as a scrub assistant, circulating RN or monitoring person and assist with the daily operational and business needs of the lab. The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the registered Nurse Practice Act. This person is able to coordinate communication between all involved modalities in daily practice. Pre-screens patients and/or families to augment the procedural process. Must be able to recognize, report and document abnormal and/or critical screening values. Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment. Educates patients and families. Involvement in performance improvement activities to ensure continuous quality improvement.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• At least 1 year of critical care experience required. ICU, ER, Cath Lab
