Job summary

Sherman Oaks Hospital is seeking a cardiovascular lab technician to assist in echocardiography and interventional procedures, scrubbing and monitoring data under a physician team. The role supports both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures in a busy hospital setting.

The position requires ARRT-R or RCIS licensure, BCLS certification, ACLS within 30 days, and preferred CV lab experience. Per Diem schedule, Days shift, on-site at Sherman Oaks Hospital.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R license or RCIS required.
• CV lab experience preferred.
• Cardiovascular tech program with emphasis in invasive cardiology preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedures or monitor physiologic/hemodynamic data.
• Ensure procedure room is prepared for procedures.
• Monitor par levels of instruments and supplies.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
