Qualifications include ADN or RN program completion; BSN preferred; CA RN license, BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be required. New grads welcome for non-specialty units; 1 year in specialty units preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current and valid RN license issued by the State of California – Required.
• BLS – Required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on unit assignment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care based on hospital policies and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patient progress and document findings in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and monitor responses.
• Respond to emergencies using appropriate nursing interventions and sound clinical judgment.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement, in-service education, and staff training.
• Float or be assigned to units based on patient care needs and organizational priorities.
