Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a radiology technologist to perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures and assist in catheterization lab procedures under direct supervision. Under the supervision of a technologist, you will operate imaging equipment, document procedures, and support in patient care and safety, while adhering to HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in a radiology technologist program in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and assist in catheterization lab procedures with knowledge of cardiovascular physiology.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment under supervision.
• Monitor patient responses and respond to adverse events.
• Complete documentation and image archiving for procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
