Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a travel assignment. This role requires at least 6 months of Cath Lab experience and preferrable Meditech proficiency. You may be asked to float to other units and locations as needed, and candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility.

Shifts are day-based; a comprehensive badge of certifications (BLS, ACLS, RCIS/RCES/CI/CV, Radiography) is required to keep pace with EP and structural heart procedures.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 6 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Cath lab procedural area ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient. Equipment includes Philips fluoro systems, Mac Lab, and CardioLab for EP. Procedures include LHC, RHC, EP ablations, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, and tilt table tests. Work includes EP, structural heart, and monitoring, including right-heart monitoring.

Shift & Scheduling: Call schedule is a rotating schedule: two weekends and 9-12 days of call in a 6-week period.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
