Qualifications

• BLS, RCIS or CI, ACLS certifications required.

Additional Details:

Unit Details:Supports both diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and interventional radiology procedures.Cath Lab procedures include left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), and Impella device placement and support.Interventional radiology procedures include GI bleed embolizations, pulmonary embolism thrombectomies, kyphoplasties, drain placements, port placements, and additional IR procedures as required.Scrubs, circulates, and monitors during Cath Lab and IR procedures.Prepares and maintains sterile fields.Operates imaging equipment and ancillary devices.Assists physicians with device preparation, placement, and troubleshooting.Responds to emergent cases while on call.

Shift & Scheduling:Monday-Friday schedule.On-call required: 12 days per month, including weekends and holidays.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
