Job summary

Trinity Health in Livonia, MI is seeking a part-time cardiovascular technologist to assist in the cath lab. You will scrub and gown for surgery, help the cardiologist in invasive cardiovascular procedures, and prepare patients for procedures while monitoring their condition.

The role requires an associate degree in cardiovascular technology, BLS/ACLS, and on-call readiness within 30 minutes. RCIS/RCES or CI certification is preferred to join a compassionate, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular Technology or related field required.
• RCIS/RCES (CCI) or CI (ARRT) certification preferred.
• BLS/ACLS required.
• Must be available to respond to cath lab within 30 minutes when on call.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position overview Scrubs and gowns for surgery to assist the cardiologist in all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures. Performs a variety of specialized and complex invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures. Assists the cardiologist in all surgical and diagnostic procedures. Prepares patients and assists in monitoring the patient's condition during invasive cardiovascular procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

• 1. Associate's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in Cardiovascular Technology or related field required.
• 2. RCIS/RCES (CCI) or CI (ARRT) certification preferred.
• 3. BLS/ACLS Required.
• 4. Must be available to respond to cath lab within 30 minutes when on call.
