Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab. The role emphasizes direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting physicians in complex cardiac procedures.

Eligible applicants will have Georgia RN licensure, an associate nursing degree, and at least 1 year of related experience; bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Educational requirement: Associate Nursing Degree.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year; Critical Care, Cath Lab, ER or OR preferred.
• On-Call shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology procedures while maintaining a sterile field.
• Perform duties to support direct patient care under physician supervision.
• Ensure accurate patient data entry and correct procedural factors for quality imaging.
• Maintain sterile technique and document care in the EMR.
• Assist with patient prep, draping, and equipment setup for procedures.
• Rotate through scrub, circulating, medication administration, and monitoring roles.
