Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Braselton, GA is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to assist in Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology procedures under physician supervision.

The role requires maintaining sterile technique, preparing room and equipment, and supporting care of critically ill patients across age groups. Candidates should have RCIS/RT(R)/RRT/RCVT or relevant licenses, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Licensure or certifications required: RCIS, RT(R), RRT, or RCVT; in lieu of registry, Paramedic license or Practical Nurse license accepted.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Educational requirement: High School Diploma.
• Minimum experience: One year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile technique throughout invasive procedures.
• Preps procedure room and equipment for procedures.
• Ensures correct patient data and imaging factors for quality images.
• Assists Physician during percutaneous and open cases with equipment and supplies.
• Operates fluoroscopy and digital radiology equipment and performs post processing.
• Document daily operational functions on procedure room equipment.
• Takes call shifts with 30-minute response time.
• Mentors new staff and participates in PI programs and continuing education.
