Job summary

Parkland Health in Dallas is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist / Electrophysiology Technologist to perform specialized cardiovascular examinations, ensuring compliance with Parkland standards and optimal patient care.

This role requires ARRT or RCIS within 3 months, MRT/LMRT within 9 months, ACLS/ALS within 90 days, and BLS; a $10k sign-on incentive is available. Full-time, on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an AAHEP Radiology Program or RCIS program.
Minimum 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP Lab.
Equivalent education/experience may substitute for requirements.
ARRT certification or RCIS within 3 months of hire.
MRT or LMRT licensure within 9 months; ACLS/ALS within 90 days.
Current BLS CPR card; maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

Conducts cardiac cath, peripheral vascular and/or electrophysiology studies.
Serves as lead worker and resource to staff to maximize capabilities.
Collaborates with intra-procedure team to ensure safe patient care and protocol adherence.
Assists with patient prep, draping, and communication with physicians on protocols.
Maintains and calibrates equipment; performs preventive maintenance procedures.
Stays current with developments in cardiovascular technology and best practices.
