Job summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiology technologist to perform specialized cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular and electrophysiology imaging procedures. The role serves as a lead resource for clinical staff and ensures procedures meet Parkland, regulatory, and safety standards.

The position requires ARRT or RCIS licensure with Texas MRT/LMRT within 9 months, ACLS within 90 days, and BLS from a recognized provider.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an AAHEP-accredited Radiology program or RCIS program.
• ARRT certification or RCIS certification required; MRT/LMRT in Texas within 9 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Conducts specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies and/or electrophysiology studies.
• Provides lead worker support to medical and clinical staff as needed.
• Reads orders, prepares and positions patients, selects equipment per protocols and standards to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Coordinates with intra-procedure team and participates in universal protocol and site identification.
