Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA is seeking a cardiac EP Lab technician to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease. This part-time role covers 12 hours per week, with a 7a-7p day shift and on-call coverage for holidays and weekends.

Under supervision, you will support PTCA, stent placements, IABP placements, EP devices and ablations, interpret EKGs and hemodynamics, and mentor junior staff as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a health science field.
• Must have competency in interpretation of EKG and hemodynamics.
• Cardiac catheterization or EP lab experience preferred.
• RCIS, RCES, or IBHRE certification within 24 months of hire; active status.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and arrhythmias in the EP Lab.
• Care for patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices and ablations.
• Mentor and provide advanced technical support as experience grows.
