Job summary

Atrium Health in Macon, GA seeks a skilled CV/Cath/EP Lab professional to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and arrhythmias. You will support patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, and EP device procedures, in a fast-paced lab environment.

With increasing experience you will mentor new staff and expand your technical skills, contributing to high-quality patient care and procedural success within a collaborative Cardiac Lab

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a health science program such as cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing.
• Documented competency in interpretation of EKG and hemodynamics.
• Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology Lab experience preferred.
• Allied health professional experience in cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and arrhythmias in the CV/Cath/EP Lab.
• Care for patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, and EP devices and ablations.
• With increasing experience provide resource and mentoring to new staff and expand technical skills.
