Job summary

Randolph Health is seeking a Unit Coordinator for the Progressive Coronary Unit. The role oversees patient care coordination and patient flow in the unit, ensuring practice aligns with nursing standards and state law. BSN is required and BCLS certification must be current.

Candidates should have excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking abilities, with at least three years of clinical experience in a fast-paced setting. This full-time position operates 7a–7p days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• BSN required.
• Current BCLS required.
• Knowledge of purpose and use of equipment.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and procedures.
• Ability to function in a fast paced, stressful environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Leadership skills; ability to organize and prioritize, use critical thinking, and solve problems.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, physicians, other health care personnel, visitors, and the public.
• Minimum of three years clinical experience.
