Responsibilities

• Support patients’ activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility, transport) and follow standard precautions.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKG related tasks as directed and document results.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and aid in orienting new hires.
• Complete annual hospital and unit-specific competencies by the due date.
