Baton Rouge General seeks an experienced Team Leader for our Cardiac Reconditioning team to drive clinical excellence and operational performance. You will lead daily nursing operations, coach staff, and advance quality outcomes in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
• Strong cardiac nursing experience required
• Ability to manage operations, staffing, quality initiatives, and patient care outcomes
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
• Knowledge of accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and nursing best practices
• Commitment to fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of assigned nursing unit(s)
• Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-focused care through effective leadership and operational excellence
• Monitor staffing levels, patient acuity, and census to ensure appropriate resource allocation
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics to support departmental goals
• Develop and maintain a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and professional growth
• Respond to and resolve patient care, employee, and operational concerns in a timely and effective manner
• Support regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and organizational policies and procedures
• Promote patient and employee safety through adherence to established best practices and quality standards
